Power: Standard Cell 1.0

The rechargeable battery module — it powers your Attaky and recharges over the Core's USB-C.

Power: Standard Cell 1.0 is the rechargeable battery module. It supplies power to the Core and everything attached to it, and it recharges through the Core's USB-C port. There's no firmware to flash — it just keeps your build running.

What's inside

  • A 1000 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion cell that runs the whole build
  • A battery fuel gauge, so the firmware can show an accurate charge level
  • Recharges through the Core's USB-C in everyday use — no separate charger
  • Its own USB-C port for charging the battery on its own
  • A power button and power / charging indicator LEDs on the edge
  • A pass-through connector so an Expand module can still stack on top

What you do with it

Power: Standard Cell is what turns an Attaky into a portable device. Attach it and your build runs untethered; the on-screen battery indicator stays accurate because the module reports its real charge level to the firmware. When the battery runs low, plug a USB-C cable into the Core to recharge — the device keeps working while it charges.

How it connects

Power sits between the Core and an Expand module: it attaches to the Core and supplies it, while a pass-through lets an Expand module stack on top so you don't give up a capability to add a battery. It connects through Attaky's standard connectors — see Frame & Connections for the standard, and Swap a Module when you want to change one.

Good to know

Charging — in everyday use, recharge through the Core's USB-C port; the device stays usable while it charges. The battery module also has its own USB-C port for topping it up on its own — useful when it's detached from a build, or when the Core is powered off. With the Core on and assembled, charge through the Core.

Accurate battery readout — the module has a dedicated fuel gauge, so the charge level you see is measured from the cell itself rather than estimated, and it stays accurate as the battery ages.

Size — 66 × 46 × 10 mm.
